“In Pursuit of Justice” tells the story of Greg Taylor, his 17-year battle to gain his freedom, and the criminal justice reform that set him free. Seven years ago, Taylor became the first man to be declared innocent after a wrongful murder conviction in NC. Find out where Greg Taylor is now and what he has to say now about this experience. In addition to addressing issues of justice, we will explore how incarceration impacts mental health, addiction, family, relationships, employment and more.
This event is free and open to the public. It is hosted by NC State’s Department of Social Work, Campbell University School of Law, and the NC Center on Actual Innocence.
