We’re really excited that our new and returning students will be heading to campus soon! We’re gearing up for the 2018 GLBT Symposium, our annual kick-off event that brings our students together for a half-day of free food, community building and lots of fun. The GLBT Symposium will be held on Saturday (8/18) from 12:00 – 4:00 PM in the Talley Piedmont Mountains Ballroom.

If you’re a RETURNING student and you want to join us for the FREE lunch so you can meet all the new students, email Preston Keith by Thursday (8/16) to RSVP. (Lunch will be held from12:45 – 1:30 PM.) Also, if you can stick around from 1:45 – 2:45 PM for the returning student panel discussion, let Preston know. This is an opportunity for new students to find out what it’s like at State and for returning students to talk about all the ways to connect on campus.
